Mettler POLY SHEEN is a 40wt, 2 ply, 875yds, 100% Multi-filament Trilobal Polyester embroidery and decorative sewing thread.

This thread allows you to show your true colors. The range of colors for POLY SHEEN is hard to beat. The colors harmonize perfectly with the color palette of the multi-color POLY SHEEN® for both embroidery and decorative sewing. 

This excellent embroidery and stitching thread and decorative application stay totally colorfast when subject to harsh treatments, such as chlorine bleach, wet dry abrasion, washing and ironing. The thread can also be used with the latest high performance sewing and embroidery machines.

POLY SHEEN has a much larger surface area to reflect the light, which is why it shines so beautifully. It also has better elastic qualities and 50% higher tensile strength than rayon. POLY SHEEN® can be used in every situation and is particularly well suited for use with highly stressed textiles such as sports and leisurewear, children s clothes, leather, work clothing, jeans, terry cloth.
